Litchfield Community Center and Senior Citizen’s Center
	Located at 1100 South State Street, the Litchfield Community Center is a 9000 square foot building available for rental for wedding receptions, banquets, or other functions, large or small.  Rental options are below, but for more details, call the Park District office, also located in the building, at (217) 324-9075, from 8:30 AM to Noon, Monday through Friday.   1.  A $400.00 fee with a $400.00 deposit for the whole center, all day.  The entire hall will hold approximately 400 people once tables and chairs are in position. 2.  A $200.00 fee with a $200.00 deposit for half the center for a whole day; or the whole center for half a day. 3.  A $100.00 fee with a $100.00 deposit for half the center for half the day, which is a six hour maximum. 4.  A $60.00 fee for rental of the Senior Room, which will, without tables, accommodate approximately 30 people.
The Golden Circle Nutrition Program also operates from the Community Center, preparing food for the “Meals on Wheels” Program.  To contact them, call (217) 324-3032.   New to the center is a computer with on line capability for use by senior citizens desiring to keep in touch with loved ones in far off places.  They can use it any time while the Golden Circle is in operation to send and receive e-mail or pictures or just to surf the web.   Various civic clubs and organizations also use the building as a meeting place and it is used for many recreation programs.  For a list of these programs, see the “Calendar of Events.”
